Well I finally have my new bike at last. It took some effort and quite some amount of cash however I feel that in the end it is all worth it.
I was booked in for the 9:55 PM flight out of the virgin blue domestic terminal however due to certain factors out of my control I found myself at the airport at 6:30 at night.
As I arrived I made my way up through the airport and to the 3 main terminals for the domestic section of the airport. I stood around dazed for quite a while trying to figure out where to go and eventually wandered over to a guy with those sterile gloves who directed me towards the security gates.
As I arrived at the gate I again stood around staring like an idiot wonder what to do next when I noticed the desk was full of filing trays. The gentleman next to me started to remove coins and other metallic objects from himself and placing them in the tray. At this point I decided that it was sensible to do the same and throw all my crap in as well, I then placed my helmet and boots on the little conveyor belt and proceeded to walk through the X-Ray.
I was cleared through the X-Ray so I grabbed my gear and started to head off when I was pulled over by an Indian security fellow who wished to inform me that he was going to check me for explosives with his little Ion stick or whatever it was.
I am not sure if this was standard practise as they did not get the gentleman behind me but at any rate I turned out clean.
I purchased some coffee and the following book which is helping me to kick the habit and remain happy:

Some of you may of even heard of the book or the Author. I suggest that anyone trying to kick the habit read that book. I read it in the airbook and ever since my urge to smoke has just dropped right of the planet. I can not praise it highly enough and I recommend it for those who are serious about stopping.
At 9:55 PM we boarded and went through all the safety blah blah seatbelts and whatnot and we lifted off the ground. I purchased onboard Foxtel and then 5 minutes later got the worlds worse toothache and spent the rest of the ride crying.
This post was epic in size so I shall make another about my actual brisbane and riding time!
